Invertebrate animals

A separate place in our oceanarium is reserved for invertebrates

They include gastropod animals (coral polyps), echinoderms (starfish, sea urchins, sea sponges, snake tails), molluscs, crustaceans (crabs, shrimps), annelids and others

Coral reef

In our oceanarium lives a real 6-meter coral reef, which consists of hundreds of coral polyps (invertebrate animals)

A reef is an accumulation of rocky hard and wavy soft corals. And hundreds of animals live around the polyps - from bright fish-fishes to barely noticeable cleaner shrimps

Echinoderms

Our aquariums are home to hundreds of starfish, sea sponges, sea urchins and snakes. They are all predators. There are dangerous. And some of them are also poisonous. And almost all of them can reproduce lost body parts, change their color, size and gender

Crustaceans

In our aquarium, you can find blue and almost transparent cleaner shrimpsIn our aquarium, you can find blue and almost transparent cleaner shrimps

We also have boxer crabs and shrimps that defend themselves by holding small poisonous sea anemones in their claws. But seeing hermit crabs can be more difficult, because they like to play hide and seek

Molluscs and worms

Our residents are barely noticeable, but very important! Some molluscs and worms filter water, and some loosen the soil and feed on organic remains

Some of our molluscs and worms lead an attached lifestyle, while others are constantly looking for a new home, food and adventure
